Privacy Policy

Cadence (“the app”) is developed by Sampath Mora. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your data.

Data Collection

Cadence does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. All information used by the app stays entirely on your device.

Health Data

Cadence requests read-only access to the following data types from Apple Health:

• Step count — to display your daily and weekly step totals
• Heart rate — to calculate time spent in your custom heart rate zones

This data is:

• Read directly from Apple Health on your device
• Never uploaded to any server
• Never shared with third parties
• Never used for advertising or analytics

Cadence does not write any data back to Apple Health.

Data Storage

The only data Cadence stores locally on your device is:

• Your custom heart rate zone configurations (name, BPM range, weekly target)
• Your daily step goal

This is saved using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults) and never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

Cadence uses no third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or crash reporting services.

Children’s Privacy

Cadence does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
